What's the difference between the 30L and 60L?

Same construction and features - the difference is size and lockability. The 30L (46 x 28 x 28cm) is carry-on friendly, sized for day trips, commutes, and weekend missions, and fits in most overhead bins. The 60L (60 x 33 x 33cm) is our check-in-sized bag for multi-day trips and gear-heavy missions, and is the only size with lockable YKK zippers.

What are they made from?

1000D AlphX™ PVC - our heaviest-duty waterproof fabric, built for travel-level abuse.

Are they fully waterproof?

The 1000D AlphX™ PVC fabric itself is 100% waterproof. The main D-shaped compartment opens via a #10 YKK zipper, which is not a waterproof zip, so the main compartment is highly water-resistant rather than fully sealed - not recommended for submersion or extended exposure in driving rain. The front pocket is splash-proof only.

Is it lockable?

Only the 60L has lockable YKK zippers, for extra security when checking it in or leaving it unattended. The 30L is not lockable.

How do I carry it?

Both come with adjustable, removable backpack straps for hands-free carry, plus top grab handles.

Is there internal organisation?

Yes - both are single-compartment bags with a mesh pocket built into the lid, plus the external splash-proof front pouch.

Is the 30L really carry-on friendly?

Yes - at 46 x 28 x 28cm packed, it fits within most airline overhead bin allowances. Always worth checking your specific airline's size policy before flying.

Does it have a luggage tag holder?

Yes - both sizes include a dedicated luggage tag holder.

What's the warranty?

I've not had the chance to use my bag yet, but I was impressed with the quality and finish. I ordered this bag not just for being water repellant but also for the various carrying options. For anyone wanting a completely waterproof bag this is not the one for you, Orial does have other 'submersible waterproof bags' - not that I'm planning on submersing this bag, but for the sudden downpour or splash, this bag will stand the test of time and looks as if it will be easy to clean and maintain.

Absolutely love these bags. They are so strong and well built, clever and subtle design solutions making the use so flexible. The main zip is so hardy I doubt it will ever break, and the seams are very well stitched. Have bought 4 of these bags for myself and friends!

A great size for a weekend bag and the quality is fantastic. It is comfortable to carry as a backpack, even when full. The zip pockets - inside and outside the bag - provide quick access to those smaller items. I bought one for my dad and one for myself. We are both so chuffed.
